I still can't believe I managed to bring home this much stuff.  Here's my opinion on products that I've already used.

  • Muji plastic vials:  Love love LOVE these!  I'll never have to buy travel-sized stuff ever again.
  • Oshima Tsubaki (Camellia) oil:  My favorite new beauty buy.  I freaking love this oil.  So lightweight and it absorbs into my skin within minutes.  It is making my hair so moisturized and shiny and I think it's reducing the amount of hair I lose.
  • Orbis Hair Milk:  I seriously love this.  I don't understand how it makes my hair so soft while being so lightweight.  This in combination with camellia oil has made my hair the softest it's ever been.
  • Fino Hair Mask:  Sorry to say I don't think it lives up to it's viral reputation.  Maybe it just doesn't work for my hair type, but I just thought it was meh.  Hair was softer after blow drying (didn't really feel soft when left to air dry).  I like using camellia oil way better.
  • Hado Labo Premium Lotion (gold):  I love Japan's hydrators and this one is impressive.  I like the thicker texture and I'm so impressed that it contains 8 forms of hyaluronic acid.  I use it on my hands as well.
  • Naturie Gel:  Love the lightweight gel texture.  Practically disappears after being applied to my face.  I think I actually prefer the gel to the Naturie toner/water.
  • MUJI Sensitive Skin Toning Water High Moisture:  I have a geographical love-hate relationship with this one.  I hated using it in Japan.  It's tacky after application and in a high humidity environment like Japan, that tackiness lasted a long time.  It felt absolutely gross sleeping under blankets (I used it on my whole body).  The only reasons why I didn't throw it away right then and there was because (1) my skin was so soft in the morning and (2) I wanted to try it in an arid environment (home).  Thankfully, I kept it and I was right.  Using it in a less humid environment did the trick.  Leaves my skin feel moisturized as well as hydrated.
  • Perfect Whip face wash:  I know that some people don't like it because they says it's too stripping on the skin, but that's the main reason why I like it.  I love that squeaky clean feeling, even if it's not actually good for my skin.  I always apply moisturizers immediately afterwards anyway.
  • CICIBELLA Super Vitamin & Exosome sheet masks:  Had to use these first due to an accidental puncture.  Some of the serum leaked out so I can't say if they were originally really "juicy" but I thought they were good.  I don't know if the exosomes really did anything but I liked the citrus smell.
  • Utena Premium Royal Honey sheet mask:  They live up to the hype.  They are so moisturizing and there was enough serum leftover for 2 additional applications.  I'm saving these for special occasions.
  • Kose ClearTurn Uru Bomb (Blue) sheet mask:  Very nice mask.  The jelly consistency is kinda weird but I love how moisturizing my face felt.
  • Matsukiyo Pollu-Barrier Facial Mask Smoothing:  Not bad for 500 yen.  Would buy again.
  • LuLuLun Hokkaido Lavender sheet mask:  I find the concept of the regional masks to be so fun.  It's my first time using any Lululun mask and I like it.  The lavender scent is pleasant and light enough that it doesn't give me a headache.  The mask fits me very well and the edges adhere well to the chin underside area.  Left my skin soft.
  • Daiso compressed sheet masks:  These are so much fun.  I adore that I can make my own formulas with whatever I have on hand–aloe vera, green tea extract, toners, etc.  It's been fun experimenting.  The quality of the mask isn't the best and they are a little big but since it was only 100 yen for 35, I can live with it.
  • Aqua Skin Super Moisture Sunscreen:  I bought this on a whim but I'm pleased with it.  I absolutely adore Japanese sunscreens.  They are the only sunscreens I've ever used that don't break me out.  Texture is non-greasy, lightweight but with just enough weight to for your to know it's there.  I like that.
  • Items I haven't tried yet: various LIHAW Cica masks, Rhoto 50 blessings masks, Lululun Hydra masks, Sana Nameraka Honpo 6-in-1 face cream, various Kose Clear Turn mass sheet masks, Kiku-Masamune Japanese Sake Moisturizing Lotion.

Typing it all out, I'm only now realizing how many items I've already tried.  Perhaps I'll update the list whenever I open something new.  FYI, I love how Japan has refill pouches for practically everything.  Such an easy way to save 100-200 yen.
