Inspired by my terrible experience with the kryptein sunset symphony palette. People can post swatches and stuff but the most important thing is how easy a product is to use and how well the effect lasts right?

Girlcult 4 colours eyeshadow palette 56 and 61

    * I was hesitant to try this because I’m not a fan of the packaging but I saw others hype it up. Went beyond my expectations. Great formulas, shimmers still look good after going to the gym(note that the pink shade in 56 is actually a cream). Lasts well, easy to wear to the office despite the colourfulness. The colour stories suit my skintone very well. My favourite duochrome formula 10/10

    Sheen effect

    * Beautiful toppers with a sheer base. Duochrome shift is delicate and pretty and I can layer this with any matte/shimmer look to make it more fun. Plus it’s under $10? Such a good deal. 8/10

    Noricorn x ghoul in Japan

    * Mainly got this for the red shade but even though it’s pretty the formula is dry and unblendable. You kind of have to carefully pat it on and hope for the best. Other shades are great though. haven’t had much issues with fallout.
That yellow/green is *chefs kiss*, makes me feel like a cute tennis ball. 9/10

    Lunasol chocolate palette

    * Still my fave everyday neutral wear-to-the-office look 9/10

    Kate brown shade eyes BR-6
An OG in Japanese/Chinese makeup circles. Can’t go wrong with this and a soft smokey eye. I usually bring this on vacations. 9/10

    Kate popping silhouette shadow RD-1

    * Went really viral when it first came out. The most neutral of neutral shades for a no makeup makeup day. (also the makeup you can do with it tend to be so soft that you can’t really tell if it fades a bit) 7/10

    RMK quad 06

    * Colour story doesn’t translate well on eyes. Can’t do a complete look with it. I thought it looked SO pretty at the airport duty free but honestly it’s my biggest regret from Japan considering how it’s so pricy. I guess I can try to use it more in conjunction with other palettes but like… eeeh…. 3/10

    Kate virtual eyes maker

    * All I wanted was a nice soft burgundy palette…. alas. Hard to blend and goes grey by lunchtime. 5/10

    Canmake perfect stylist eyes

    * Burgundy palette 2 electric bog-eye-loo. Lasting power of a snowflake. Fades immediately (and the formula is pretty sheer so there’s not much there to fade from to begin with). 3/10

    Kryptein Sunset symphony

    * The colour story is beautiful but IT CREASES IN 5 MINUTES??? The mattes are so dry and powdery, the shimmers have this flaky, wet feeling formula. Also the fallout is insane. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a cbeauty brand and I’ve bought the most random of stuff off of taobao for shits and giggles before. Not to mention it’s so expensive. I will never again trust a cbeauty brand that focuses on overseas customers and doesn’t have a presence in China. 1/10
