I can’t actually keep up with the number of brands popping up is what I think lol. I also think not every single makeup artist needs a brand. I get it’s lucrative, but idk how many more brands can really sustain themselves in this economy

I’d rather a celebrity makeup artist create a makeup line than a celebrity themselves create a makeup line, because makeup is the artists job whereas the celebrity just puts on makeup for their job
Though this palette looks like something I’ve seen a thousand times already before

Like most people I think the beauty market is oversaturated but this is the kind of person who should be putting out new makeup. He is very knowledgeable and skilled, so this feels different than someone putting out a makeup line for a cash grab.

I think he’s one of the most talented makeup artists of all time. His technique is on another level so im not hating this.

Just yesterday I talked to a friend about how I feel like we have too much of everything and I don’t feel hyped anymore, be it make up brands, tv (now Netflix) shows, music streaming services when you had to buy CDs or Tapes or wait for the song to be on MTV etc etc. This may be more of a me-problem or a problem of someone born in the 80s and having been invested in make up for 20 years, but I absolutely can’t keep up with the current thing ™ and it all looks so interchangeable.
