hi everyone! i'm not totally sure how bkl operates so wanted to ask a few questions before i (hopefully) make my first purchase from them tonight!
mostly i'm wondering about the plethora of mystery polishes. i don't have the money to be buying polishes that i don't even know what they look like. have most of them been released already? does anyone have swatches that they would be willing to share? here's a list of all the mystery shades that don't have swatches on their website:

also, if anyone has opinions about any of the other polishes in my cart, i'd love to hear them! tia!

If you’re on facebook, I highly recommend checking out the “[Bee’s Knees Lacquer Lovers – a BKL fandom](https://www.facebook.com/groups/1289755874969450/)” group. There are many swatches in there for the mysteries.
There are very few polishes that aren’t dupable. Personally I cannot fathom buying a mystery polish. If you find out what it is and love it, there will almost certainly be options.
You can find pics of a lot of the mystery polishes by doing a google image search.
Get laquergram and look at the swatches for the mystery polishes. That’s what I always do
They’re all too beautiful. The only way to deinfluence is to look deeply into your heart… and your last bank account statement.
Check out Lacquergram for swatches of these. They have been released already. From personal experience I can tell you I love Give Yourself Permission to Live. It’s like Mooncat’s Memento Mori but instead of orange shimmer it’s green.

I destashed Close to the Heart. It’s a deep berry with green shimmer that is super sheer, like basically a jelly.

Do a search on this Reddit board. Also, on Google and YouTube. Personally I love Snake. It’s sheer, but it’s a gorgeous glowy green. I also love Doing Crone Shi*t. Also sheer, but an amazing shimmer – like Ethereal’s Ether Dragon a bit. You don’t even exist to me. Is a beautiful neutral. If you’re looking for a lion family neutral, that’s a good option. It looks a bit pinky mauve with a pink shimmer.
Do you like really sheer polishes? I heard this brand is full of sheer / three coats minimum polishes. I can’t do it personally and the super dark with a hint of shimmer is not for me. I can just dupe that, and save loads of money from not buying multiple dark base with a variety of shimmer polishes 😅.
Doing Crone Shit skews less pink and more brown. It’s also very sheer. It’s still nice, but if you don’t like neutrals or sheers, pick up something else!
If you are part of their Facebook fan group, you can search for the polishes there and there should be multiple swatches from people. Ox is (imo) so ugly. It’s probably one of the only polishes I have that I doubt I’ll ever wear again.
