What are the non-negotiable steps for your skin care and makeup routine to have youthful dewy glass skin?
I am turning 30 soon and would like to get my skin care routine figured out. I am in the process of figuring out what I need to do differently, add to my routine and trying out foundations that are medium/full coverage and are dewy but do not clog pores.
I am pretty lost, I feel like maybe I should be toning or using some sort of extra serum, face masks, and would like to find a sunscreen that doesnβt mess up my makeup application and leaves me dewy.
I switched recently to using the covergirl makeup in only problem areas and am trying out the milk foundation and concealer.
So far my routine is the following:
PM
1) cleanse with micellar water
2) cleanse again with pericone MD vitamin C ester citrus brightening cleanser or Neutrogena hydro boost
3) pea sized amount of Metronidazole, pea sized amount of azelaic acid, and 3 pea sized amount of tretinoin on face (all of this is new except the tretinoin)
4) Latisse
5) Cetaphil moisturizing cream on face and neck and chest
AM
1) sunscreen preferably (I dislike every type I have tried so far, it makes me feel gross and my makeup goes on poorly or it dries me out/greases me up).
2) makeup
Weekly
1) exfoliate face gently
2) dermaplane face
Monthly
1) Dye lashes
2) Dye eyebrows with just for men beard dye
3) salicylic acid all over face in am, for 5 days in a row
4) ketaconazole wash or clindamycin on face for extra break outs
