Being a fan of Banila's cleansers, I was excited to try their new sunscreen, but was unfortunately let down big time.
I will start by saying that I love the pump on the tube and the crome lettering. But in terms of positive notes… that's about it.
It has a strong smell and it tingles when I apply it. I am in my mid thirties with combination skin, and this was absolutely not a good match for me.
I found it clogged my pores and broke me out. It was not calming or cooling.
I'll admit I have used it as a base for my Numbuzin Beige tone up sunscreen, so it might have been a bit much. But I have gone many days without any type of makeup on top, but it didn't make a big difference.
Conclusion: I'm finally learning that I need to stick with what works rather than chasing newness. Just repurchased the classic BoJ sunscreen in stead.
