This breaks my heart. I’ve been a long time user and lover of the Tocobo bio watery sunscreen. I loved its thin consistency and hydrating properties, and found it didn’t irritate my eyes and worked well as a makeup primer. I often bought multiple bottles at once, as they seemed to always have some sort of BOGO or great discount.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago- I placed another larger order, as I was running low on my stock. I opened up a new one, and to my utter horror, realized that it is REFORMULATED.
The new version is noticeably thicker, has a white cast, and the classic sunscreen smell. It does not absorb quickly and feels like it sits on my face and gives a very greasy feel.
I am so upset. The original formula was amazing, and price friendly. Finding a good quality face sunscreen that isn’t $40+ a bottle is very rare these days. I emailed them inquiring why this change was made, and noted how disappointed I was (knowing they most likely wouldn’t reply).
Just felt like sharing in case there is anyone out there who loved the original formula, and is thinking of stocking up again.

Ugh and I was just about to reorder. Thanks for the heads up
The question is, where did you buy it from? This looks like an American ingredients version, not an OG product full reformulation. Lots of Asian sunscreens are going to start having two versions if they want to sell directly in US stores. You should still be able to find the original at an Asia-based retailer.
Seems like you got the US version. They haven’t reformulated in Korea, as you can see on their [Korean official website](https://tocobo.co.kr/product/%EB%B0%94%EC%9D%B4%EC%98%A4-%EC%9B%8C%ED%84%B0%EB%A6%AC-%EC%84%A0-%ED%81%AC%EB%A6%BC/31/?srsltid=AfmBOop2J6ghRvNDJ92tEJkPHkHnIj2473d3aVwt8PHqR8wOvImrGU8S).
