This is a review of three polishes I just received from u/_blankbeauty . Not as a sponsor thing, I ordered them like a big girl. I ordered one color they already offered (Zombie Zest), one custom color to try it out, and got an additional mystery polish for filling out a short website review.
Pics 1-3: Zombie Zest. The photo shows two coats, both of which set/dried quickly and solidly. The color is not as bright as it seemed online, but it is a really pretty green and I love it. It's also really nice and shiny for no top coat.
Pics 4-5: This was my mystery polish. Not one I would've picked, but I'm glad to have it now lol. In the photo I have three coats. It's not 100% opaque after three coats, and it dries almost matte which is interesting. I've heard that neons are often streaky, and this one was not, though it was thinner than the other two polishes. Also note that I did the three coats without waiting too long between them, which could've made a difference. Also ALSO note that the weird red streak in the middle was from me accidentally getting my third polish on the first coat. I just wanted to try the colors out, so it didn't matter in the moment.
Pics 6-11: My custom color, meant to dupe Essie's "Knee High Life" polish since mine is old and I don't love the thin applicator anyway. I attached the photo I used to get the custom color, and although my camera was pretty determined to not pick up the colors of the polishes accurately, I can say that the polish I got was VERY accurate to the color I provided. They also provided a cute little swatch of the custom one. It is not as bright as the Essie polish, which I think is partially due to user error and the color I gave them, since Zombie Zest was also not as bright as it seemed online it may just have something to do with their colors as a whole. You can most easily see the difference in the 11th photo. However, I am still VERY happy with the color I got, especially for the quantity and price which I'll mention at the end. For me, this color match was accurate enough that I am happy, and I also do believe that the color I sent them to replicate wasn't the most accurate representation of the polish. Please ignore the messy polishing, it was quick and my old Essie is NOT smooth to apply 😭
Pics 12-14: The brush size/style, the polish bottle size compared to OPI and LA Colors, and the cutie packaging it was sent in. They handwrote my name so I censored it for privacy.
Final thoughts: I am very happy with the nail polish I got! BUT, I personally am not the most detail-oriented, and if i was too hung up on the exact colors then I might have not liked what I got as much. Everything I got I'm happy with, especially since each polish is $9 for 15ml. All of their polishes, including the custom colors, are $9 – which is a pretty good price in my mind! The polish itself is really nice, not streaky or very thin, fully opaque in two coats other than the neon one which I'm sure has a different formula than their usual polishes. They only currently ship in the U.S, for anyone wondering. I'm not sure just how long they've been around but they've definitely been doing a push for customer feedback recently – I found out about them through a post by u/blankbeautyhannah in this sub. Since there aren't many reviews I was able to find, I hope this helped some of you. I would definitely recommend them to try out, and if anyone has tried them please give your takes as well!
p.s: if you saw this is a repost, no you didnt – my photos didn't post!

forgot to mention in the post, but they also dry down VERY solidly – if i needed to do my nails quick and didn’t have time to do a whole routine, these could work without a top coat
I really want to try this but I have no colors id want to try
Thanks for the review! I had seen their advertising and was kind of intrigued by the concept.
Thanks for sharing! I’ve been looking for a shade similar to my car….now I can just grab the hex code!
As someone who’s ordered from Blank Beauty a few times, I completely agree with your review. All of the custom colors that I made ended up looking considerably less vibrant in person than I thought they would be.
I’ve actually had more success with the polishes I bought that were part of their various collections (rather than creating a custom color polish). [Nautical Nonsense](https://blankbeauty.com/products/nautical-nonsense) is by far the best Tiffany blue creme polish that I own. It’s stunning and bright, with an excellent formula that’s pretty much a one-coater.
As much as I love the idea of creating a custom polish, I think that I’ll mainly stick to purchasing the ones that they already have available in their collections, since there’s a pretty good range of options that I can choose from there.
