You have oily skin? Try to avoid this moisturiser. Maybe something more like a gel moisturiser?

Oh no! I have oily skin too and have been looking at barrier creams. Soon Jung has an emulsion that some people recommend as a lighter option for an occlusive. They also have their hydro barrier gel. Aestura 365 is really popular, but pricy. Though apparently they have a lighter lotion option. Illiyoon has a concentrate cream and I think they also have a lighter option like a lotion or gel. These are the ones I see mentioned most often, but I haven’t tried any of them, myself.

I have the Purito Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Cream which is a lightweight gel-cream barrier cream. It’s nice and light, and feels like nothing, but for me, I’m not a fan of dewy finishes and this is too dewy for my liking. It’s not so dewy that I won’t finish the tube. It’s light enough that you can use it in the morning, too, and I do find that it’s less dewy if you use it alone versus layering it on top of other products.

  3. I don’t have oily skin so I can’t be of much help, but I do wonder- has anyone tried a barrier cream that absorbs and *doesn’t* just sit on top of skin?
