There's so many options available for AB products that it's fun to try out new or trendy products. There's some products that are so good at what they do that I never stray away from them and I've been buying them for years. I'm still looking for a buy for life BB cream / cushion foundation, but I've yet to find one. I'm curious what everyone else gets!

For context I have combination, acne prone, sensitive skin, and 1c hair (considered wavy for Asian hair and prone to frizz when humid). I live in a city that has pretty humid summers and dry winters so I have to adjust my routine based on the seasons. Here are some of the products that are staying in my routine forever:

  1. Hada Labo Moisture Milk – I've been buying this for years. It's the perfect moisturizer. I used to alternate this with CeraVe Lotion, but I noticed CeraVe would actually sting when I used it on my nose area when it was chapped in the winter. I've never felt any irritation with this milk and it leave my skin feeling soft and supple.

  2. Shiseido Fino Premium Touch Hair Mask – Almost every hair product I've ever used has little to no noticeable effect on me so I wasn't expecting much. I don't even know how many containers of this I've gone through now. It's perfect for my hair type. It's quite heavy so I don't put any on my scalp. It smooths my hair and makes it much softer.

  3. KissMe Heroine Make Volume Up Mascara Super Waterproof – HOLY GRAIL. This mascara is my entire inspiration for this post. I tried a different AB mascara out of curiosity recently and was disappointed in it in comparison to this one. This mascara holds a curl so well since its waterproof, but it doesn't leave my lashes feeling crusty and uncomfortable. It's still somewhat soft and fluttery and I only have to apply a little for some nice definition.

  4. Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel and Essence – I have so many bottles of this around my house. It's my go to no matter what. It applies well, dries well, and sits under my makeup well. There's no pilling and it's cheaper than some of the other options out there! My one complaint with it is the alcohol / ethanol is quite strong when you first apply it, so if I apply under my eyes the vapours sting. I'm curious to see what everyone's repeat sunscreens are.

  5. naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner – I'll be honest I was skeptical of this one at first. It wasn't as ground breaking as some of the other products I mentioned, but I find myself always buying this when I see it on sale. It's very lightweight and soothing and I like pouring a bit into my hands and patting it onto my face and body for some light moisture. It's also very cheap for the amount you get.

  6. KissMe Heroine Make Speedy Mascara Remover – If this mascara remover has no fans I'm dead. I will buy this mascara remover forever for as long as I wear mascara. For the longest time it felt like no matter how much I washed my lashes and eye area there was still some mascara left. I didn't wear waterproof mascara because I hated rubbing my eyes for so long that lashes would fall out. This remover changed everything. You just swipe it on your eyelashes a few times, let it sit and the wipe it away.

  1. 1. CosRX snail (either the solo or the duo with niacinamide). I have backups of this stuff and can’t imagine it ever leaving my routine. On rough skin days a few coats of this make it seem like it never happened. I use it to soothe everything, but it is bomb at maintaining my barrier, adding that chok chok feel. My skin is noticeably rough without it.
    2. Hada Labo premium toner. This is their richest one – the gold bottle. This is my first step and key in layering my moisturizing products. Nothing else compares to how rich this feels on the skin, and it can easily layer up as well. I use 4 or 5 layers of this as an alternative to sheet masking when I’m not in the mood for a mask.
    3. Biore UV Aqua Riche Watery Gel – so easy to use my husband and kids use it too. Easy to apply dries quickly, plays well with makeup, easy to reapply. Dries matte, never pills like other gels.
    4. Saem concealer – I have this in like 4 colors to accommodate tanning and use in lieu of foundation. Perfect shade match, super pigmented, lasts forever, and sets beautifully on me. Amazon clocks me in at least at 9 repurchases, and that doesn’t count the ones I’ve gotten shipped from Korea.
    5. Etude House brow pencil and brow gel. No one else does a gray pencil as well as they do. I top it with a blonde gel for a realistic brown eyebrow for my skins tone. Holds all day, no slipping, just enough tackiness to stay in place.
