  1. I can confirm. Did 6 weeks without sweets/desserts this year. My skin has never been better.

OMG great tracking and willpower! I’ve never had a sweet tooth and cannot stress enough the benefits of not living without added sugar. Besides alcohol, smoking, and poor sleep, pretty sure excessive sugar is one of the worst offenders for premature aging. Since my body is used to not consuming any sugar at all, each time I consume even a little bit of extra sugar, I notice more frequent breakouts.

Have you also cut down on anything else besides sugar to see the impact on your skin?

Well done! If I may ask, what is your approach? What do you do or take instead of the ‘treats’? Whenever I try to cut down on soda and sweet and savoury snacks I’ll ultimately give in after a while and feel like I am back to square one.

This is a good reminder. I had amazing skin when I was on keto diet!

  5. Let’s remember that everything has sugar, including fruits. What you want to avoid are processed sugars (anything processed, really!)
