I got some VT Reedle Shot questions.

    1. Since you aren’t supposed to apply it around your eyes, do I apply eye cream first?

    2. If I use a sheet mask after the Reedle Shot, do I still need to use a moisturizer?

    3. Am I supposed to wash my hands with soap and water after applying Reedle Shot to my face, so that the reedles don’t get everywhere?

    Hi,

Trying to decide which of the three I’d like to try out. Searched all the previous threads mentioning these, and very few comments had anything negative to say about any of them, so I haven’t really been able to bump any off the list. If anyone’s tried all 3, I’d love to hear about what you prefer, or if you’ve moved on and found a different brand as well.

TIRTIR Milk Skin Toner, haruharu Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner, NEOGEN Real Ferment Micro Toner. I currently use Heritage rose water toner and it’s fine, does improve my combination but mostly dry in the morning skin, but I’m not blown away by it. I also don’t usually find it in person/don’t live near beauty stores that carry it, so figured if I’m ordering online anyway, might as well spring for something that most people consider holy grails over a ‘good enough’ option that leaves ~a little, not a lot~ to be desired.

Hi! I bought the Pair Acne line when I was in Japan and now I’m almost out. The face wash and spot treatment I’ve seen online for cheap, but the lotion is like $20 each everywhere I’ve looked. I can’t find any of them at my local H Mart and K beauty stores. Can anyone recommend a replacement for their lotion? Or can recommend somewhere in Central Jersey that might carry Pair Acne? Thanks so much!

  4. Looking for leave in conditioner recommendations that won’t make my hair oily. For context, I am a 22F, with thick black hair, Chinese origin. I wash my hair every few days and use Pantene for both shampoo and conditioner. However, my hair tangles super easy and isn’t as soft as I would like. I’ve used Garnier Fructis leave in conditioner but it instantly makes my hair oily.

I have dehydrated skin that can feel very tight even after washing with just water. I don’t use any actives other than using a light AHA once a week so I think my skin barrier is fine. My skin also doesn’t get very oily, but it’s not flakey or anything like that. Aside from the dryness making my skin feel uncomfortable I read that dehydration can lead to the appearance of wrinkles and enlarged pores which I’m starting to notice and don’t like.

I recently picked up the Laneige cream skin toner to help with all this and used it for the first time today. To be honest I’m a little disappointed because my skin doesn’t feel any more hydrated than usual and if anything even feels a littler drier. I don’t know if I’m using it wrong but I applied it after cleansing and while my skin was still wet/damp then used my ordinary moisturizer on top of it once it dried. I did some searching around and saw some people say that this is a moisturizing toner and not a hydrating one. Did I buy the wrong product for my skin’s needs?

  6. Hi everyone 🙂 I’m looking to find a waterproof sunscreen for the summer months that’s fragrance free. I wouldn’t mind having separate ones for face and body, and I while I know this is the Asian Beauty sub, I’m willing to look at other areas of origin as well.

When I say fragrance free, I mean fragrance free PERIOD. No limonene or linalool or natural botanical scents. Eucalyptus, tea tree, rosemary extract, lavender, these sorts of things irritate my skin.

I’ve used the Verdio UV moisture gel in the past, and it got the job done, but I found it to be a bit greasy for my liking, and ended up not really using it due to sensory issues. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

    Thank you 💖

  7. Please recommend hand creams to lighten tanned hands. Should I look for products with vitamin c or niacinamide? I use sunscreen separately and reapply before driving.

  8. My skin seems to hate me now. I got eczema on my face and body, and now sensitive to a lot of skincare products. Any recommendations for skincare products for face and body for me to try that’s helpful for sensitive (and dry-combination/eczema) skin? 🥺

  9. I have oily combination skin, redness, uneven skin and whiteheads. Although recently at a facial (I rarely do this), I was told my skin is dry. I live in South Australia, it’s the driest state in the country and mostly cold a good part of the year.

My routine consists of: MORNING bioderma micellar water Active ( alternate *melano cc/ Paula’s choice salicylic acid) Hada labo lotion Corsx snail 96 mucin essence Skin aqua moisture gel

NIGHT DHC cleansing oil Corsx good morning cleanser Active ( alternate mad hippie vit A/ *Paula’s choice discolouration repair serum) Hada labo lotion (not religious with application) Corsx snail 96 mucin essence (not religious with application) Moisturiser ( I’m not committed to any product, just any product I feel my skin needs. It’s corsx snail 92 all in one cream now as it’s winter now)

*Products I have only added into my routine this week.

I previously used the ordinary niacinamide+ Zinc but stopped after I ran out.

I recently started wearing makeup, and while my foundation gives me a flawless even skin tone, I prefer good skin and lighter makeup.

Have I pointed out my skin concerns correctly? Am I using the right products for my skin concerns? Would love effective product suggestions for my skin concerns.

    Thank you for your help!

Thoughts on Hada Labo Deep Clean and Pore Refining Face Wash?

i have acne-prone, oily skin and i’ve been eyeing this product for quite some time since it’s available in the local pharmacy and i keep seeing it. however, i don’t see that much reviews on it because the other variant and other product line(?) are much more famous. so i was just wondering on your thoughts or review on it because i plan in buying it due to its accessibility and convenience

I’m in Japan and need recommendations for anti-aging and moisturizing skin care please!
Hi all! So as the title says, I’m in Japan (so exciting!!) and I really want to get the best of the best in terms of anti-aging and moisturizing (maybe pore refining too) skin care products, I would LOVE you guys’ recommendations please! Regardless of the prices, I’m looking for cleanser, serum, retinol product, sunscreen, day cream and night cream, I’m 30f and my skin is “”””””normal”””””” meaning not prone to acne and not really dry or greasy. The climate where I live is dry normally and very hot

Please please could you guys recommend me whatever it is has worked for you? (Keeping in mind what I stated above)
I’m so excited and there’s A LOT of products so I really want to bring home quality skincare that works

  13. Hi, I’ve been looking into replacing some of my makeup for a while now, mostly foundation, powder, and possibly some new blush. I came across Florasis and love what I’ve seen about the products; however, I have oily skin.

I was interested in their Flawless Jade Breathable Long wear Cushion Foundation (or tbh any of their foundations but whichever is best for oily skin) and the Flawless Jade Breathable Pressed Powder

Additionally, if you have bought from them, how did you pick the best powder or foundation shade for your skin tone? The only foundation I have is the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation in shade 1C1 Cool Bone, which is described as Light with cool, rosy-peach undertones, but I am still worried about picking the wrong shade as it’s not cheap and I am from the UK so I can image return shipping won’t be cheap.

If anyone wouldn’t mind advising on what they think, I would appreciate it, thank you xx
