I’ve been trying out some Chinese skincare brands and wanted to share 3 products I’ve really enjoyed so far (none of these were purchased via YesStyle, I got them through Taobao):
• HAA – Ceramide Ectoin Moisturizing Emulsion
• Peterson’s Lab – Barrier Adaptogen Toner
• Spring Letter – Trisomic Retinol Serum

My main issue: I can’t stand fragrance in skincare. I always check the ingredient list beforehand (no parfum or fragrance listed), but when the products arrive and I try them, they often still have a herbal or floral scent sometimes light, sometimes straight-up perfumey. It’s so frustrating because even when the formula is great, the scent can completely ruin the product for me. I’m very sensitive to fragrance and even mild scents can trigger migraines.

So my question is:
Does anyone have recommendations for Chinese skincare brands or specific products that are truly fragrance-free? I’d love to find more products like the ones above gentle, effective, and actually unscented.

I tried the Spring Letter serum too and I didn’t like the scent either, was surprised by it because there was no fragrance on the ingredients list too, also those tiny packets that you pop for each use just felt so unsustainable to me.
