Found this trial set of Hada Labo sachets for overnight skincare in the local 7/11 here in Tokyo. This is a veryyyy good review! (Recommend running the images through your fave translator app for added clarity.)
First off, it comes with a free hair tie which is very considerate hahah!
A sachet of oil cleanser for makeup removal – which I am RUNNING to get a bottle of ASAP. It just melted the makeup right off and left a nice soft skin texture after rinsing off.
Then I had a nice long bath because I walked a million miles today lmao.
Two sachets of foaming facial cleanser – you don’t need a huge amount so I only used one sachet of everything. It really foamed and cleansed well, no notes tbh.
Two sachets of moisturising lotion – which was a watery liquid and acted like a toner. It kinda stung a little bit but that might be because I just had a steaming hot bath and my face was OPEN. It also left a tacky/sticky texture behind which I’m guessing is to hold on to:
Two sachets of moisturising emulsion – a milkier liquid that laid on quite thick and soft. It took a while to sink in to my skin actually, and left a good wet shine for about five minutes. Again, maybe I was already hydrated from my boiling lobster bath.
It’s been about twenty minutes since using this stuff and my face doesn’t feel tight or dry, just a little warm (again, bath!) and slightly greasy(?) from the remaining emulsion moisturiser.
Definitely recommend picking this pack up if you need a quick trial set or emergency skincare on your Japan trip!
