Thoughts on this sunscreen and other good options

Okay it sounds like this product works for you. The best sunscreen is one that you will use.

This is however, a US version of LRP sunscreen so it uses older filters so most likely doesn’t have the best UVA protection (it does have some, since it’s broad spectrum, but just not as much). This is because UVA wasn’t a big concern in the skincare community until recent years and the FDA haven’t approved a new filter since 1999 so a lot of the more advanced filters out there that specifically target UVA protection such as Mexoryl400 (used in LRP’s UVmune range, of which the oil control fluid should have the strongest UVA protection that we know of) isn’t allowed to be sold in the US.

Now the Asian sunscreen system rates UVA using the PA system, which maxes out at the equivalent of PPD 16 or so. So I can’t guarantee the strongest UVA protection with Asian sunscreens either. That’s said, since we are an AB sub, most Asian girlies would agree Anessa (esp the one in the gold bottle) is the most trusted brand for sun protection, especially for outdoor activities.
