Skin type: Dry, prone to redness
Climate: Dry and Cold in winter
I have dry skin and deal with a lot of redness, but since indoor heating keeps my skin temperature high even in winter, I’m always looking for cooling products to help calm things down.
I also don’t really like applying sunscreen with my hands, and I’m not a fan of strong sunscreen scents. So when I saw that ELROEL had a sun cushion, I had to try it. After using it for a month, here’s my honest review.
What I liked:
* Instant cooling – It really does have a cooling effect, which feels super refreshing on my skin.
* Brightening effect – There’s a slight tone-up effect, which I actually liked because it works well as a makeup base.
* Sweat & heat-resistant – It seems to hold up well against sweat and heat, and when I checked the product details, it turns out it’s designed to be waterproof. Makes sense.
* The packaging – Okay, but the real MVP? The cute little sun design inside. It’s such a small thing, but every time I open it, it makes me happy.
What I didn’t like:
* Not a lot of product – Compared to regular sunscreens, you do go through it faster. But since I prefer not getting my hands messy and the formula itself is solid, I don’t mind it too much.
Overall, if you’re looking for a sunscreen that’s easy to reapply, feels cooling, and works as a lightweight base, this one’s a solid choice.
