A day late with the update, as I spent yesterday with my family and didn’t get the chance to write all this up.

      This is **Nabla: Soul Blooming**

The most exciting part of this update is Chamomile! My first finished shade for this palette! It took me exactly 207 uses this year and 235 tracked uses overall to finish it. I’m sure there were more uses on it, but I only started tracking my uses at the beginning of the last year.

October was a busy month for me, same as September, and this will continue into November. Because of that, I have a few looks I’m rotating through. It’s easier to not think about what I will be putting on my eyes in the morning, and just follow a pre-set template. I reached most of my goals, and some progress is visible in the shades I used over 10 times.

      **Goals in October:**

      1. Use Caravaggio as a base x2
      – I don’t really enjoy using Caravaggio as a base. It works beautifully, a really great base for shifty shades. I don’t really like the grungy or dark looks, so unfortunately I don’t feel comfortable using it and wearing it that way.
      2. Recreate x3 saved looks
      – All over brown with Honey Drip in the inner corner: a bit boring look, but it was nice nonetheless. I don’t really like Honey Drip in the inner corner, since it’s a bit chunky.
      – Flowery as an all-over-the-lid look: haven’t tried this in some time, and honestly, it doesn’t really suit me. Blues look nice on me as clothes but not really as eyeshadows.
      – Garçon as liner: on me, it didn’t look as nice as it looked in my reference picture. It’s probably due to my lid space being way smaller. Oh well, it is what it is.
      3. Use Middle Karma, Garçon, and Caravaggio x10 each
      – I managed to use all these shades over 10 times. My small goal is to reach 150 uses on Caravaggio by the finale of this project. I’m doing my best to reach 60 uses at least if not pan on Middle Karma and Garçon, and I think the dips are more noticeable. Perhaps there is a chance to do it? Given how long it took me to hit pan on the rest of the shades, I’m not hopeful.

A small update for my seasonal eyeshadow project, which consists of three eyeshadows that compliment three focus shades from Soul Blooming. I found some looks with the yellow shimmer (and hit pan on it!) and the matte copper that I enjoy, but I barely reached for the shimmery medium plum. Despite that, I also hit pan on the medium plum on the 31st of October! This makes 2/3 of this palette panned, which I’m very happy about.
These are good, autumnal shades, but it’s hard to balance using all of the shadows I want to get use on. It would have been much easier if I set the goals I’m trying to reach right now at the beginning of the year. But oh well, you live and you learn.

**Usage of all shades, total uses this year in brackets:**

      1. Honey Drip – 15 (67)
      2. Gea – 5 (62)
      3. Chamomile – 29 (207), 235 tracked uses to finish
      4. Bolero – 3 (63)
      5. Middle Karma – 15 (59)
      6. Garden Gate – 5 (52)
      7. Climbing Rose – 2 (64)
      8. Garçon – 14 (35)
      9. Anemone – 5 (60)
      10. Flowery – 7 (51)
      11. Philosophy – 1 (61)
      12. Caravaggio – 11 (136)

      **Goal for November:**

      1. hit x60 uses on Flowery, and Garden Gate
      2. use Middle Karma, Garçon, and Caravaggio x10 each
