I have combo skin, super dry cheeks and oily t-zone. My skin is also slightly sensitive.
Recently I was given a retinoid for my nose filaments. I was told to use it daily or every other day… which ended up being too often and now I have orange peel skin on my nose. I'm sure I damaged the barrier have stopped using it.
I'm looking to buy products that'll help repair the skin on my nose, and that can also be used on my super dry cheeks to provide moisture/hydration.
After going through MANY threads on this sub, these are the products i've seen the most recommended for barrier repair and general moisturizing/hydration. This is my current cart on iHerb that i'm trying to reduce.
What should I keep and what should I remove? Should I wait for the out of stock products?
The only cream not pictured here, and that was recommended more than anything else, is the illiyoon ceramide cream. iHerb doesnt carry it. Does anyone know of a trusted site that I can order it from?
My current minimal routine:
– Peach and Lily Oil Cleanser (only when I wear makeup)
– CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
– Tatcha Dewy Cream
– La Roche Posay Cicaplast

I’d remove tony moly due to potentially irritating fragrance and the mary and may which is lovely but could be irritating on broken barrier.
I swear by both the cosrx toner, and the purito sleep pack. I would bathe in the purito if I could 😂
You need products with ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids to repair your skin barrier
