apologises for the absolutely horrific photo but has anyone experienced this after using the cleanser? (Clogged pores(?)), pimples??) I’m not even well versed enough in skincare to recognise what’s going on
for more context, hope I don’t get flagged because literally no one replies in the help threads: when I’m stressed I only tend to break out on my forehead and I have never really experienced breakouts on my cheek. It’s very unprecedented and I’m starting to wonder if it’s due to the cleanser which is the only new thing my skin has been exposed to recently.
other theories for why:
– I did have my period recently, could it be hormonal?
– i traveled to Hong Kong in June and came back August, my skin clogged up there which i expected but has never really cleared up since
– the weather is getting really cold (and really dry), could that break me out?

The cleanser is likely just not for you. Despite staying on for maybe a minute, cleansing oils/balms can clog pores. Learned that the hard way, but with a different product.

I see nothing horrific or really disturbing on this pic. Maybe it’s just a quality of photo. But I wanted to share that my skin hates oil cleansers and generally any oily products, they clogged my lots and caused breakouts no matter what I did and what hyped product I tried. I just switched to cleansing water, foam and replaced creams with gels in my skincare routine. And it helped a lot.

Did you emulsified them with water long enough (splash some water and massage your face, the oil will turn white) then use cream/gel cleanser later?
