This would be better tagged as a question than a discussion, but oh well!
I’ve been trying to understand ppm and how to understand how much % that is, but I noticed that some brands don’t even show the ppm/% of an ingredient and if they do sometimes it’s so low that I wonder if it’s even effective?
For example I was looking at the ingredients of the HaruHaru Wonder PHA gentle liquid exfoliating serum and saw that a few ingredients were only 0.001ppm which according to a ppm to percent calculator is 0.000001%. WHAT EVEN IS THAT?? Would that even do anything??????
Am I reading or calculating this incorrectly? I do know that these ingredients are at the bottom of the list and the product already has 10% orange water, but I don’t know it just seems like such a small amount that I doubt it would even do anything at all!
If I’m doing something wrong please do correct me because I’m so confused and would love to understand “ppm” or ingredient percentages more
