Hello! Received a full size version of this as a freebie some time ago and thought I’d give it a shot! Being brave about it as I could find almost no reviews on this product 🥲 and though I’d reach out to people here.
I’m hoping that some of ya’ll that have tried it could share your experience and thoughts about it! I’m planning to give an update in six months once I’ve really incorporated it into my routine. Hopefully this post can serve as a mini resource for anyone else looking for reviews on it as well :).
First thoughts/impressions
My skin is dehydrated and oily all over. Medium skin tone with hyperpigmentation and some reoccurring pimples/clogged pores but generally non reactive (although I have limited sample size of products I’ve tried) and can tolerate rubbing/physical exfoliation. I’ve cut out other serums/acids in my routine for now and have applied the serum by sandwiching with a non-ab facial oil and the Pyunkang Yul ATO Cream Blue Label. Introducing it slowly (four day break between application) and have used it twice so far!
The color is bright yellow and it has a scent that I can’t really describe. As a general smell/fragrance hater though I do like the way it smells and it doesn’t linger after application. The serum spreads easily and does leave a little bit of a yellow tint that makes it easy to see where you’ve applied it. The color reminds me of turmeric and appeals to my nostalgia haha so I’m already a little biased in favor of it. The packaging seems secure the cap clicks over the pump in a way that feels airtight.
After the two applications my cheeks seem slightly drier? And a little more sensitive to being rubbed (a habit I should probably break anyways lol). But no purging/irritation/flaking so far!
