It’s taken awhile (because this awesome eye cream comes in 25ml unlike most eye creams which are 15ml) but I have finally emptied the Mizon Multi Function Formula Snail Repair Eye Cream.

My skin type is dry / normal and the only issues I have around my eye are fine lines. I do know that sunglasses and a hat are important for combating fine lines especially ‘cos I live in a sunny and humid country but the truth is I am inconsistent in using those and have to deal with the consequences as I age i.e. fine lines.

I bought the Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream as an AB alternative to my non-AB HG which was getting ridiculously expensive where I live (like US$70 for 15ml). The Mizon was in comparison about US$11 for 25ml which was a real steal.

I don’t necessarily have to try all things snail – it took me a long time to start with CosRx’s snail mucin cos just the thought of smearing snail secretion all over my face freaked me out a bit. But when I did,I really loved it. So while I don’t necessarily jump at the chance to try anything with snail mucin,I’m okay and a bit more excited if a recommended product contains it.

While the Mizon didn’t do anything mind blowing for my fine lines, at least it didn’t worsen my skin condition (e.g. by introducing millia) like other AB eye creams have done in the past (e.g. Innisfree). YMMV, but I personally found the Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream quite light but reasonably moisturising (I used it both morning and night and didn’t find it too oily) – it was very easy to use under other products and make up (although I don’t wear eye make up that often).

Would I RP? Yes and simply because it is so cost effective. but I’m also keen to try other products so I have just opened iunik’s propolis vitamin eye cream. Looking forward to see how that works because compared to snail, I’m a much bigger fan of propolis in skincare.
