Summertime sluggishness, PTP 2024 update #7

This is **Breakfast at Tilbury’s**, a franken palette.

My goals for July were focused on mattes, specifically Toast of the Town. Unfortunately, the progress isn’t very visible, because my palette fell and this shadow shattered. Luckily, I didn’t lose any product, but I used the shattered product (from the upper left corner) and then repressed it. I hope it will be a bit more sturdy now.

I managed to use up the upper left corner of A Nice Cup of Tea, but I’m sure it will be staying for a couple more months

August is historically my worst month for panning, mostly because that is when I’m on vacation (and therefore don’t always feel like putting on makeup), when it’s the hottest, and when I’m suffering from allergies the worst. I will try not to beat myself up about that and I’ll just set one low-key goal. It might even “make” me reach for the rest of my eyeshadows more. Anywho, not much to say in this update.

**Goals for July:**

* use Toast of the Town x12 times
* Since I discovered the combination of this with a light duochrome, it’s been much easier to reach for it in the morning. I also tried it with a light gold shimmer and an antique gold shimmer. It looked stunning with the antique gold but was too dark for the light gold. However, if I topped the light gold over the antique gold, it works very well! I’ve also been reaching for it as an all-over lid matte look, as it’s so hot I don’t have the energy to do much more.

* As you can see it’s used up! It’s very nice to see progress on this eyeshadow.
