Hi I am a 25f, and l've been interested in anti aging facial oils for a while now to add to my 9 step Korean skincare routine. I intended to use the oil as a sealant to lock in all of my moisture and keep me young. I am particularly interested in these two facial oils. AMAKI Japanese Tsubaki anti aging Oil, and Donginbi Korean Skin Care
1899 Signature Oil. Both are famous for their anti aging properties. AMAKI is affordable at 34$, Donginbi sits at a hefty price of 119$. I'm fine with either one as long they work. Any experience on the matter?

What my 9 step routine consists of
    1. Facial cleansing oil
    2. Facial foam cleanser
    3. Toner
    4. Essence
    5. Ampoule
    6. Vitamin c serum
    7. Emulsion
    8. Moisturizer
    9. Sunscreen

so i would have to look at donginbi more closely but i doubt ANY facial oil is worth that much. like you’re better off saving that money for (1) a doctor’s visit to get prescription tret or (2) professional in-office procedures (lasers, peels, microneedling, etc)

my initial thought is amaki but i would have to check if the price makes sense and it does seem to emphasis being for mature skin and you’re 25 so i don’t know if it would have the effects you want? many 25 year olds, myself included, still have pretty oily skin. so anti-aging should be focused more on just upping collagen synthesis or like antioxidants (which you can get likely in more bioavailable forms then would be in the oil and for cheaper). a lot of anti-aging oils are just very nourishing, have a lot of oil to replace that which is no longer in the skin, which can make it look more supple. so if you don’t have that issue, it might not help more for your goals then a cheaper oil which isn’t explicitly marketed as anti-aging (and thus able to have the price jacked up cause marketing). i know know the omega balance is important, but again i have to look more into that.

so basically tentatively the cheaper one but it might be worth looking at oils that aren’t explicitly “anti-aging” cause i think it’s possibly just an excuse for inflated prices
