Listen guys, I tried to put everything in one post and it’s just too much swatching and editing (just these three took me 3 days, womp womp) so I’m breaking it down into 3-4 palettes per post :’). It’ll definitely take me a handful of days per post so if you’re interested please be patient 😀
Question? Comments? Want me to swatch something specific? Want me to compare something specific? Want me to make a post about my way too many cbeauty lip products? Tell me!
# Quick Overview: Qian Yan 24 Pan Palettes
Purchase method: together directly on Taobao, international shipping
2/10 no wonder it’s getting discontinued, you could not have designed a dustier product, it’s actually a disaster. Most of the matte light shades do not show up, the darker shades are all patchy and the fallout is insane. The shimmers/glitters are okay but nothing special. Also hard pans easily. This is the only palette out of everything I bought that I think is genuinely not worth it at all.
* 12 – sheer glitter silver topper. Not a solid silver but really catches the light at night
* That’s it, the rest are either just okay or complete disaster
* 3 – can you see her? Because neither can I, and I literally had to scratch eyeshadow powder on to my arm/hand and rub it and it still barely shows up
* 10 – beautiful colour in theory, terrible to use in practice, if you use a brush it doesn’t pick up, if you use your fingers, more product is left on your fingers. Blotchy, splotchy, and uneven
* 11, 21, 23, 24 – all the blues in this palette are pretty bad and have similar issues. They’re all dry and dusty, and basically blend away to nothing. It’s really patchy even if you put on eye primer,
