1. Laura Mercier Ultra Blur Talc Free Setting Powder. I prefer the original version out of the two but I’ll always stick to my HG love of the Maybelline loose powder. Can’t beat the price and the performance for me.
-it definitely does give a blurring affect but it did not help my shininess at all. It looked good for maybe an hour or three and then it would look hella oily and I would have to constantly blot or top with my Maybelline pressed powder. I used this for fall and winter but needed a stronger product for spring and summer.

    2. Fenty Beauty True Matte Primer. I should’ve bought the mini version first to try. Should’ve could’ve would’ve. I didn’t hate this. But it, IMO, was more of a natural matte. It was great for spring and fall but I need something stronger for summer.
-If you want a true matte, as in you won’t be seeing shine any time soon, then I would go with Milk Makeup Pore Eclipse Mattifying + Blurring Primer or the more affordable route the L’oreal Infallible Matte-Lock Primer.

    3. Elf Cosmetics Dewy Coconut Setting Spray. Love the smell. And bonus 100+ points for the mist. Elf hits it out of the park with the mists. It’s such a fine and soft spray. I only used this on my beauty blender and if I used too matte of a foundation with too much powder and it looked cakey. If anything I used this more of a mixer/fixer than an actual setting spray bc this is DEWY af. It’s a beautiful glow of used as an actual setting spray.
-I always go back to my true and tried Milani setting spray. Can’t beat it for me.
