Hi! I was at TJ Maxx today and I saw some cleansers that seemed interesting. They’re all from $5-$10. Don’t have specific issues (beyond ones mentioned below), just looking for something to get me excited for my nighttime skincare routine. I usually use Cetaphil cleansers.
I’ve only bought one other Asian Beauty cleanser before which was:
* Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Refreshing Cleanser (also TJ Maxx) – It’s nice in that it doesn’t strip my skin. Ok, perhaps it’s a touch powerful compared to the gentlest of cleansers such as Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (the milky one). It is unfortunately not very exciting otherwise. Perhaps that should be the goal with cleansers. I’m just looking for a more pampering experience!
I’d like a cleanser that is not more drying than BOJ Green Plum cleanser. But that has more bells and whistles. Such as foam, fragrance, something pleasantly distinctive or skin beneficial.
My skin type: not sure. Probably combination to oily. I deal with blackheads, large pores, but also have toners with actives (salicylic acid) for those issues which can be drying for my skin. However I will also consider getting a salicylic acid cleanser!
