Hi everyone! This is my first time posting in this subreddit and first time doing a review for a product. I just got the newest Unleashia cushion in the mail today and decided to try it out while there was still some daylight. I did an initial swatch on the back of my hand and compared it to another cushion that I had, which is Romand's Nu Zero cushion in 25N. Originally, I thought Romand's cushion was my perfect match, but I actually found it to be just a half-shade darker and a bit too orange for my complexion. I would say that I'm a light-medium with neutral leaning cool undertones, and I have reactive, dehydrated, combo skin (oily T-zone and normal/dry everywhere else).
Comparing the hand swatch to Romand's, I can already see that Unleashia's would fit me much better because it is a bit lighter and less orange. I prepped my skin by using the mediheal toner pads and letting them sit on my cheeks for 5-10 minutes. For the application method, I did one pump, sweeping the product with my finger and placing it on the back of my hand and using the spatula method to apply it on my face. I used a sponge that I already had instead of the cushion's puff (just incase I wanted to return the cushion lol). I only applied the product to my cheeks, a bit on my chin, my nose + above upper lip, and a tiny bit on my forehead (T-zone). I mainly wanted to test the coverage with just the spatula method to see if it covered my redness, and it did a pretty good job with that. I found that it blended in almost seamlessly with my skin tone (yay!!) and I honestly did not need to use that much to cover the areas I wanted to cover (probably like half a pump tbh). There is no scent (vs Romand which has a soapy/floraly scent), it's got medium coverage that is buildable, it feels lightweight, and it has SPF 40++ which is nice. I have been wearing it for almost an hour right now and it is starting to feel justttt a tiny bit tight and dry on my cheeks, but the cushion came in at around 4:00 PM and I think it would be better if I used it alongside my morning skincare routine with a proper moisturizer. It still looks good and it has not oxidized at all so far. All in all, I think this is a lovely cushion foundation for people with light medium skin, neutral/cool undertone, and oily/combo. I will probably update whenever I wear this out for a full day to see how it wears, and also try using the cushion's puff itself as intended.
