Long time lurker but first time poster. This post is long overdue as these are my empties for Q1 2024, but it’s only about now that I’m able to sit down and try to compile a post about ‘em. Product list and reviews will be posted in comments.

Picture 3:
1. Brompton&Langley, hand creams in Frosted vanilla and Sparkling snow. Good in terms of scent, but they didn’t work out for me as hand creams as they were not moisturising enough and if I applied more, my hands got sticky, so I had repurposed them as foot creams. 2/5
2. Ariul, hand cream in tell me your wish – gorgeous. Okay in terms of hydration, but the scent did not work that well for me. 3/5
3. Oriflame, hand mask. I loved it both texture-wise, as well as scent-wise. 4/5
4. Bath and body works, hand cream in strawberry pound cake. This was an impulsive purchase I made when I already had a good stock of hand creams, so it had unfortunately gone bad before I could use it. And when I mean to say that it went bad, it’s texture went yellow and changed in such a way that it legit looked like infection. I could not bring myself to even put it on my feet, so I had to bin it. I am very mad at myself because of this.
5. Bath and body works, hand cream in vanilla butter cream. Lovely scent and lovely texture, I would repurchase. 5/5
6. Bath and body works, hand cream in Japanese cherry blossom. This has got to be one of my all-time favourite scents at B&BW, I am all stocked up on hand creams as of right now but once it’s all used up this will be one of the first creams I’m repurchasing. 5/5
7. Catrice, trueskin mineral loose powder. I’ve had it for years and used it to set my eyeshadow primer. I have only used it on my face once or twice, but not on heavy-duty occasions such as an event or party, so I wouldn’t be able to tell how it would perform.
8. Rimmel London, match perfection loose powder. My holy grail in terms of face powder and I’ve been repurchasing this one for years now, it performs really well. 5/5
9. Lancome, Hypnose mascara (travel size). I’ve had this from the 2022 Lancome Advent Calendar and – bear with me – no, I did not open it back then and kept it unsealed until recently. I kept it sealed until it was time to use it. I loved it and let me tell you, although it’s not waterproof, it did not budge when I had a mental breakdown at work and cried for a whole day with hardly any breaks. 5/5
10. Yankee Candle, various scents. From their 2022 Advent Calendar. If I learned anything from this, is that I am never buying scanted candles Advent Calendars ever again; the scents were very themed and I personally didn’t have the time to finish all of them before the Christmas spirit passed.
