I was asked to post the review like 2 weeks ago but I’ve been lazy…till I was asked again recently so here it is.

Skin type: Combo Sensitive(I say mostly reactive as I breakout easily but I digress).

I won’t leave my current routine. That’s a post for another day where I’m not lazy.

Before this, I was using the **Ti’am Vita C Source Serum** which I really liked but was still experiencing stinging in the mornings more than a year into using it so I wanted to try something new.

I got this on special it was ₩21,000 which was great.

The biggest gripe I have with this product is the fact that it’s so hard to squeeze out of the bottle. My nozzle is extra stiff to push down. I hate that.

It’s recommended to use a toner or serum before this and I agree, well at least for me that is, as I think the product is pretty drying used on its own.

I layer this on top of 1 pump of **Kikumasamune Glossy Moist** and follow it all with my SPF.

After I get product out the pump I rub/warm it up between my palms then spread it on my face. So the little that does come out, goes a long way.

Does it work? Mmm I think my Tiam did a better job at brightening/keeping my skin tone even. I got a pimple last month and the scar was darker than my scars usually were with Tiam and it’s only just recently started to fade.

I expect my vitamin c to help with pigmentation, decrease inflammation and hopefully help with hydration.

I’d say this product didn’t do any of that for me and the fact that I have to layer it on top of something else in the morning feels like extra work(I know it just 1 product).

Also couldn’t use this in the same routine with my tret as my skin would be serum the next morning.

    Would I repurchase? Probably not.

I’m going to go back to my old serum or try the new Wishtrend vitamin C when this one is finished.

I think people with oily skin will like this more. If you have dry skin…I wouldn’t recommend.

I can’t edit the post so I’ll just add more here:

I think it’s really not a bang for your buck kind of product. Yes it has a long shelf life but it comes with a price tag that’s slightly above low and doesn’t do an amazing job. It’s a very meh product(for me personally).

One thing the Tiam was really good at doing was adding extra hydration and also decreasing the amount of colouring left with any breakout I got.

This product just did not do that for me.

If you haven’t had a vitamin c product work for you then I’d recommend this as it actually does help with brightening, it’s just personally I actually have a cheaper alternative so it’s not worth it for me.

      Thanks for the detailed review!

I will definitely avoid this. And now I’m eyeing the T’iam 😂
