(Swipe to see a compilation of screenshots to back up this post!) I am writing this in the hopes somebody can restore my faith in Mediheal and tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about. It’s the first time I’m wishing I’m actually wrong about something. 🙁

So I’ve been on the lookout for a good eye patch lately, and Mediheal’s Retinol Collagen patch is currently the most popular one on the Hwahae app. I’ve always been interested in the brand after seeing their different masks/packs, so I was really willing to give this one a try.

But finding the exact Retinol percentage was difficult. In the promotional images and on Hwahae, nowhere does it state the actual concentration. I checked the inquiries and there was another user who had actually asked about it, but got the response that it was… confidential? Which just felt really sketchy. So I went to Mediheal’s official webpage and scrolling all the way down to the obligatory listing of ingredients, it is revealed to be 1ppm… 0.0001% according to Google.

Now I’m not a chemist nor am I good at maths but with Retinol being the 7th highest concentrated ingredient at 0.0001%, doesn’t that make everything else behind that point pretty insignificant? And isn’t it sketchy that something that is marketed and advertised as a Retinol product contains *that* little Retinol? Surely somewhere, something must be wrong..

Hoping somebody can chime in on this because my trust in Mediheal is sort of wavering now. 🥲

    1. You’re not wrong, it’s there for marketing. That amount of retinol isn’t an effective amount.

I don’t think mediheal has very good products for me because I find toner pads (their most popular products) wasteful, and they tend to contain essential oils and fragrances and my skin is sensitive. There was a similar concern on an older post [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/AsianBeauty/s/UeIMhGYFJU) on another retinol product of theirs (it might be the same, idk). There are still fans of their products but it ain’t for me
