I bought this mascara a few months ago and initially, I did not like it. During the first uses, the formula was wet and too runny causing it a long time to dry for my personal taste. As I continued to use the mascara, and as the mascara dried overtime, that’s when I started to love it. The bristles in the brush are small and spread the mascara evenly. The formula became the perfect consistency where it was not too dry where it caused clumpy eyelashes, but not too wet where it took a while to dry. The mascara formula made my eyelashes appear long, fluffy, black, and voluminous. I got so many compliments whenever I would wear this..
Another thing I love about this mascara is that it lasted through my gym sessions/workouts (considering that it was the regular formula). I would occasionally go run after work (after 10 hours of wear) and the mascara looked intact and it didn’t flake. I live in Texas where it’s hot and humid, and I loved that this mascara didn’t ruin my makeup. I do add eyeshadow and the elf setting powder under my eyes though, so that helps also with preventing smudging.
Last time I purchased from the Elf app, I bought 2 backups since it took weeks for a restock. I started to notice on the Elf app that they are constantly out of stock, so I hope it doesn’t get discontinued.
