I did a little in person shopping while in Honolulu, HI! I was looking for Skin Aqua sunscreen which I did not find anywhere but I did enjoy picking up some goodies anyway.
Excited to try out some new to me products: the only one I’ve really used is the Panthetoin cream, which I love! It’s creamy and rich without feeling heavy and it dries down very fast, fairly matte on me. It might be my new favorite moisturizer. 👀

Don Quijote Honolulu

They have tons of J beauty skincare, hair care, and body products. I was a little overwhelmed! I had a lot of fun shopping their house goods, groceries, etc too. It’s worth a visit if you can. Prices are okay, online is still probably cheaper.
Beauty Touch Kaheka, an independent retailer inside Don Quijote

Overall, this was a small shop with selection leaning more high end: a lot was behind the sales counter and the clerk said it’s mostly anti-aging products, but she tries to carry affordable options. I saw one single Cosrx product, a few Beauty or Joseon, the ones I bought, and a popular banned brand that shall not be named. Prices are a bit higher than I’d like but it was nice to not wait 2-5 weeks for shipping, so I convinced myself it was worth the splurge.
Note: I bought the Goodall sunscreen on impulse without carefully reviewing the ingredients, so only noticed later it has essential oils that could be an issue for me. Whoops! It felt creamy and smooth on my hand and I typically like zinc oxide SPFs.

This store also had tons of J beauty products, but not as many as Don Quijote. It is more centrally located in Waikiki, so it’s worth checking out.
