Borotalco Original Spray Deodorant – 5/5 = A lovely faintly flowery powdery scent, baby powder but make it more feminine and lovely. I use this at work when I fear I need refreshing (because I don’t believe in deodorant superpowers not matter which one is in question).
Borotalco Original Roll-On Deodorant – 5/5 = Same scent as the spray one, love it, use it every morning. Holds its own, I boost it during the day with the spray version.
Melem Almond Shower & Bath Gel – 1/5 = unfortunately, although a lovely true bitter almond scent (if you ever got to smell the very shell of an almond it has that sweet but bitter scent, not sugary scent) and lovely hydration, but I hate everything else about it. The consistency is too watery and not gel like, which, in combination with the drop stop bottle which is very flimsy and cheaply made, is not good.
Necessaire Body Lotion – 2/5 = a decent lotion. Nothing extraordinary.
HAIRCARE
Skinlick Root Cause Sebum Balance Shampoo – 1/5 = not for me as I have seborrheic dermatitis. Does nothing, probably makes it a little bit worse.
Aveda Smooth Infusion Perfect Blow Dry – 2/5 = not for me. Do not like the smell either, sort of fermented fruit left to semi-rot.
HAND AND LIP CARE + FRAGRANCE
Catrice Nail Whitening Base Coat – 4/5 = decent base coat, not sure it really whitens the nails, though.
Holika Holika Piece Matching Nail Remover – 5/5 = my absolute favourite nail polish remover, it has a light pink hue, and the smell is not overpoweringly acetone.
Glossier Hand Cream – 3/5 = decent hand cream, smells like Glossier You perfume, terribly impractical packaging. Cannot be reused, cannot be repurposed or recycled properly.
Glossier Birthday Balm DotCom – 2/5 = lovely fragrance, but that’s about it.
Lanolips 101 Ointment Coconutter – 5/5 = I got this on a whim, I was out and forgot my lip balm but had terribly cracked lips. This was a life saver, smells like coconuts, nourishes the lips.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask Vanilla – 4/5 = It is expensive but takes forever to use up. Not a bad investment all in all.
Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 Body Spray – 5/5 = lovely scent, staying power is even longer than in some perfumes.

SKINCARE (I have oily to combination skin with occasional breakouts and very rare occasional eczema)
Caudalie Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser – 2/5 = I bought this because it has salicylic acid as an ingredient, but honestly, it wasn’t good for me. The fragrance is overpowering, very eucalyptus herbal clinical, and the consistency left much to be desired. It comes in a gel form, but it was more of an aspic consistency, which I wasn’t a fan of.
Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser – 3/5 = I really don’t mind fragrances but this was a very powdery archaic scent that didn’t do it for me. For removing makeup, I wasn’t confident it did the job well and for regular cleansing I prefer other cleansers. I didn’t like the consistency of the product either, I felt as if though someone forcefully tried to make a moisturiser into a cleanser.
Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics – 5/5 = This is my favourite product and I don’t need to search for another one. It is a wonderful sunscreen which doesn’t sting my eyes and makes for a perfect morning sunscreen/moisturizer hybrid.
Beauty of Joseon Matte Sun Stick – 2/5 = With this product I figured sun sticks are not for me. It is too greasy on my skin, even when reapplying during the day, and it leaves a weird residue on my skin.
Skintegra Superba C – 5/5 = One of the better vitamin C serums, I always repurchase this one. It doesn’t oxidize fast and causes no problems for my skin.
Skintegra Clarion – 1/5 = This was an AHA (glycolic acid) and BHA serum that didn’t do much for me. It did no harm to my skin, but it wasn’t pleasant either and I couldn’t wait to use it up. It has a light green tea scent that puts me off.
Skintegra Infrared – 2/5 = I wanted to buy a serum that combines more ingredients together (this was an azelaic acid, niacinamide and centella asiatica blend) so that I would use fewer products, but at the end of the day this wasn’t anything special.
La Roche Posay Hyalu B5 Serum – 5/5 = I loved this sample serum for the couple of days that I used it. My skin showed immediate results in being more glowy, but I won’t purchase the full size because I simply cannot justify the price.
La Roche Posay – Cicaplast Baume B5 – 2/5 = This is just not for me, not even when my skin needs healing.
Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Eye Cream – 5/5 = I have occasional eczema which most frequently shows up on my brow bone and upper eyelid area in small red, dry and flaky patches. This has never failed to work. If needed, I apply it to other areas as well.
Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream – 4/5 = a lovely, lightweight moisturizer
Skin79 Rose Waterful Sleeping Mask – 3/5 = I love water sleeping masks. What I do not like in particular is the smell of roses (yes, I know I shouldn’t have bought this). There are better ones out there.
Beauty of Joseon Red Bean Refreshing Pore Mask – 2/5 = This is a good mask for someone who wants an effect similar to clay masks but doesn’t like clay masks. It has a faint cantaloupe/cucumber scent, but I haven’t noticed improvement in my skin after using it.
