So I finally put my hands on the new **Peripera’s Ink Glasting Gloss** in the shade **”06 Made It”**! I’ve seen some people comparing it to Clinique’s Black Honey so I chose to get Peripera’s cuz it’s more affordable.
It’s a very sheer gloss. I need to apply about 2 – 3 coats to get the same color shown on the official picture. It’s not sticky at all, has a fruity (?) scented and very comfortable to wear even with multiple coats.
My lips look juicy and healthier with this lip gloss cuz it’s very hydrating too! I thought it’d be more pigmented but I still love the color of it.
This color looks more neutral-cool to me and Black Honey looks more “warm”. It’s like a “universal MLBB” shade and it works pretty well for olives too 🥰 I think I’m a cool olive (?) and I absolutely adore this product on me. Totally worth it!;!

Does the pigment apply evenly? I’ve had issues with darker glossy formulas needing to be finessed a little more so that they don’t gather anywhere and the pigmentation looks smooth across the entire lips.

I actually decluttered this one. 😅The colour is very pretty and really does remind me of Black Honey too, but I didn’t have the patience for the application. It takes effort to spread it evenly over my lips, and it ends up in uneven patches anyway. I don’t have that issue with the same Peripera gloss in the shade Chilling Rosy, which applies beautifully. But I’m glad you’re enjoying this one, OP!
OP, is the fruity smell really strong?
