probably my last update in a while – i reached my goal of finishing a concealer, foundation, and first ever highlight! plus extra pans on a contour and eyeshadow palette

…as well as hit a pan on a cream compact concealer which i forgot, but next time i post here i’ll have saved several products up. i felt i was posting very frequently but doing this really changed my outlook on the makeup i currently have, so im excited to have reached so many goals (finishing concealers, a foundation, a powder highlight(!!!!), a bronzer and a handful of lip products, hitting pan on eyeshadows)

highlighter: **KIKO Milano Glow Fusion Powder Highlighter in 01 Brilliant champagne**. tbh i scraped a bit of it into lotion (while the last of warmth still lasts), my hair oil and setting spray and i almost liked it better than on the skin. considering i have a 9.5g (yikes) powder highlighter, a smaller powder highlighter, a cream one and a huge liquid one (rare beauty)…. i think im good with highlighters (though the kaleidos ones are still tempting)

concealer: **Bell Hypoallergenic Cover Eye&Skin Concealer in 20 Light.** i was using this for my acne (which is getting really bad at the moment) and honestly for that it worked fantastically well. the only reason im not repurchasing it is im trying to get through my other concealers first but ill keep this one in mind for sure

foundation: **KIKO Milano Nourishing Perfection Cream Compact Foundation in 15 Cool Rose.** fairly good high-coverage-brought-down-to-medium-with-wet-sponge type of foundation. not great shade range. fairly self-setting yet lets shine through. again, i have a lot of foundations on the back burner! this one i will probably not repurchase.

“contour” (actually a blush): **NYX Sweet Cheeks Creamy Powder Blush in So Taupe**. well known “contour” 😀 i like it on my forehead and under the jawline. cant get the hang of contouring cheekbones (i guess i dont have to), but ive been enjoying it practicing on my nose. seeing a pan on a blush knowing my actual blushes will probably never get one is humbling! i guess you use a bigger amount than a blush and it’s the only one i’m using. but it’s okay, i’ve accepted i’ll be buried with my blush collection. so this one will probably be finished easily

eyeshadow: **Deliplus, limited edition “Oh my look!” palette**. that beige matte’s days are numbered! 06-04-01 (sometimes adding 05 for depth) is such a no-brainer daily combo, this is the palette i usually take for trips. that 03 is pretty close to pan, too. i don’t think i’ll ever fully use this palette though, i’m not a huge fan of dark shimmers (02), 08 is fine but not the best formula (i think it’s gone off slightly, it feels a bit greasy on the pan and dry on the lids), and 05 and 07 do their job fine as dark mattes (deepening outer V, occassionally eyeliner) but theyre somewhat patchy and not great to work with, and theres not even a dip in them. right now im basically using this palette for 01 (my absolute favorite inner corner highlight) and the other colors are a bonus. it might be against the spirit, but once i finish 01 and 06 i might just throw this away. it’s serving me well! 🙂
