I have a few HGs but enjoy trying new brands out of curiosity! 🌾

    Would consider repurchasing: 👍🏻

    1. Jurlique rose supreme rich restorative cream: inoffensive and luxurious night cream for me. Also smells wonderful.
    2. Pdc wafood sake lees wash off mask: HG. Works better than any sheet mask I’ve tried at brightening skin. Gentle and creamy. Leave on for 20 mins and wash off.
    3. Estée Lauder ANR Serum: Not bad. I like Lancome Génifique more but Estée Lauder have more generous sale bundles.
    4. Laneige water sleeping mask: I honestly use this as a daytime moisturiser because its light gel-light texture is perfect for my tropical climate. Oldie but goldie, doesn’t pile and smells gentle.
    5. Trader Joes and watermelon overnight face mask: I’ve heard this is similar to glow recipe’s face mask (which I haven’t tried). It’s abit sticky but then again I use it as a nighttime moisturiser and don’t wash it off. Ingredients look good. Honestly, it’s sub $10 so it’s great for the price.
    6. Grown alchemist hydra repair day cream: Ingredients list looks good and full of lovely things. Not too harsh. It makes for a good day cream. Won’t go out of my way to repurchase it but will use it and trust it.
    7. Kiehls avocado eye cream: It was super rich. I actually might purchase this again but only if I live in a dry climate because it takes too long to sink in otherwise.

    Probably won’t repurchase: 😕

    1. Fresh black tea overnight mask: It’s incredibly sticky and gooey. I can’t speak for whether it works or not but my main bugbear is the cap! Bits of the brown colour coating flake off each time I unscrew it and get plastered all over my hands no matter how lightly I grip it. Super annoying and difficult to wash off – you can see how the cap looks like in this photo..
    2. Ginzing energy boosting gel moisturizer: Was hoping to use this as a daily moisturizer but it piles under concealer. I dont use foundation or contour, only concealer and blush and it still manages to pile. Even worse if you powder your face on occasion (lightly). Have tried with different concealers, sunscreen, and powder/no powder but always looks awful within 2-3 hours.
    3. Tarte H2O moisturizer: Again, was hoping to use this as a light daytime moisturizer but it inexplicably stings. My skin isn’t red and as far as I can tell no microcuts but always stings.
    4. Jurlique balancing rosewater mist: Nothing wrong with this but I don’t really get what mists do. I used this as a pre-serum toner and it worked fine for that purpose.
