As a pro makeup artist for over 10 years beauty products stack up quickly. I changed my job in 2023 and was no longer servicing clients full time. I realized I had an excess of beauty products and decided to do a major clean out and only repurchase what I was actually using. I started a new position in the beauty industry where I get quite a bit of product and so I had just SO MUCH stacking up. Started collecting empties fall of 2023 to actually USE UP the products I had been buying.
Cleaned out anything I wasn’t using and donated it.
All of the products in the photos either actually got completely used or was expired.
Doing this has allowed me to SEE what I am actually using and what goes to waste.
At the end of December I trashed SEVEN foundations that were expired and all nearly full and it about killed me.
I will no longer continue buying foundation I don’t actually need. Same with concealer.
I have enough powder blush, bronzer and eyeshadow to last the rest of my lifetime.
Products fully used and have a backup already or will definitely rebuy.

-Endless glow skincare products- found on Etsy and my absolute favorite for body butter I will continue rebuying this over and over.
-Aquaphor; no brainer with this one
-tree hut scrubs; love these! Already have a backup.
-moisturizers and eye cream; I will be sticking to my expensive Tatcha after trying all of these Tatcha still wins.
-ole Hendrickson lemonade scrub- LOVE this but didn’t care for the toner; won’t rebuy as I prefer the tatcha overall for skincare but honorable mention as I did like it for a deeper scrub.
-Sunday Riley night oil is love and I’m watching for it to go on sale.
Pic 2 hair products- wouldn’t rebuy either of these. Prefer Amika for dry shampoo.

Laniege lip masks- these are the minis from Christmas – killed 2 and have a few more… once they’re gone will go back to my Fenty plush puddin as I prefer that.
Tarte shape tape- have replaced this with Mario concealer
Mascaras- repurchased FanFest I love it!
Grande brow is the only repurchase for brows- other two are not panned I hate them and they’re going in the trash lol
