This thing has so many good reviews, i just hope i can warn somebody with my skin type against buying this.
My skin type is combo on the drier side currently, also quite a bit of flaking due to tretinoin use. Honestly Asian beauty foundations tend to work very well on my skin, so this cushion purchase was an excitement.
This is playdough ngl. The weirdest foundation texture i’ve encountered.
1. It only applies more or less ok if you exclusively and carefully pat your skin with a puff, otherwise this thing picks itself up from the skin. Also impossible to layer it, picks up the previous layer.
2. Makes applying both cream and powder products on top a huge hustle, the foundation doesn’t set on the skin, it stays still only if you don’t touch it, any brush swipes on top even after powdering make holes in the foundation coverage on your face. Woah.
3. It clings to every dry patch, the sides of your nose, mouth, looks horrible. It is not a glowy cushion, it is a drying playdough nonsense 🥲
I wanted to love it so much, but this is the worst thing i’ve ever used on my face. Bobbi Brown face base makes even the worst products perform better, but again not in this case.
Hope I don’t get downvoted to hell cause this product is exceptionally popular lol
