A combination of eyeshadows from a Zoeva palette I bought when I was 21 (I’m 27 now) and the contour shade from the Sleek contour and highlighter duo I bought when I was 23.
I hit pan in the beige shade first in 2019, then the dark brown shadow in 2020 and the shimmery shade today. I hit pan in the contour a few weeks ago and depotted it into this Inglot Flex Style palette because the lid of the Sleek palette broke off. The highlighter was about 60% done but I accidentally broke it when I was depotting (RIP). Originally I was just going to keep the sleek pans in this and I had the shadows in a NYX four pan eyeshadow DIY palette but figured it made sense to keep these together since I use the contour as eyeshadow sometimes and the shimmery shade as highlighter sometimes. Really handy for me for travel or a no fuss easy makeup look.
I use the black as eyeliner on its own or to set liquid eyeliner sometimes or to deepen an eyeshadow look and I really have no idea when I’ll hit pan in it. I think I might get there this year though?
Really makes you consider how long it would take to use up all your powder products, I use the contour every time I do my makeup and the eyeshadows 80% of the time. I do my makeup 2-3 times a week. And from my own experience the Zoeva eyeshadow formula isn’t that dense so theoretically easier to pan than other brands.
Also I love the Inglot Flex palettes. Really sturdy and high end feeling, you can snap the lid on the bottom of the palette when in use because the magnets are so strong and I personally hate completely clear palette lids. I like that you can still see roughly what’s in this without it being too transparent because of the finish of the lid and the branding. I got this size one in store and haven’t seen it online so if you were interested in one this size I’d reccomend checking out your nearest store.
I’m thinking about dedicating this as a “Pan that palette” project this year. I have a load of other single shadows in a bigger Inglot palette that I could use to make my own custom eyeshadow palettes and honestly remembering that I can switch these shades out whenever has kept me from buying palettes with colour stories I already own. If I genuinely was lacking a colour I really liked I could just get it in a single shadow instead of adding another palette to my collection.
Now if only I could hit pan in my other eyeshadow palettes (the bigger Inglot one, Colorpop Sailor Moon palette, UD Naked, Naked Heat, Naked Honey and Naked Ultraviolet) I’d be a very happy bunny. I’m not too mad about it though, I love all these palettes so much. Actually using the makeup you already own helps you appreciate what you have so you don’t just buy more, who would’ve thought(!)
