This is a review of matte lip products by someone who *doesn’t like* matte lip products (mainly because I have lips that continuously peel no matter how hydrated they are).
Rom&nd Zero Matte Lipstick #10 Pink Sand :
This product single-handedly made me interested in matte lips in the first place. A youtuber I don’t remember the name of said it was her go-to MLBB cool toned shade and that it was very comfortable/thin on the lips.
I can attest to this, it almost feels like nothing. This means it’s also not moisturizing at all but that’s not important since you can layer chapstick under it. I would say this leans a little more neutral than the other shades (Dusty Beige sure is beige but I mean to say that there are cooler pink shades around).
The packaging is also really good imo 🙂
ETUDE Fixing Tint #08 Dusty Beige :
This is great for people who usually can’t wear this type of shade, aka me. It’s a pinky beige, it’s quite light despite how it appears swatched (the color isn’t deeper than my natural lip color) but still has enough contrast to not be giving corpse on me. Of course I cannot guarantee the same results on darker skin 😅🙏
I like the formula because you can move it around for quite a long time but it does stick to the lips quite well once it’s become completely matte. It’s not 100% mask proof or anything but I don’t need to reapply all the time.
ETUDE Fixing Tint #11 Rose Blending :
I was worried this would be too dark for day looks but it’s really versatile. It’s a berry shade that’s just a tad muted. I can do a more dramatic lip with a second layer. It does stain the lips quite well for a matte tint ! The second picture is what’s left after leaving it on mere minutes then wiping with an eye and lip makeup remover.
I will post pictures of these on my lips if you want me to 🙂
