    1. This is Tarte’s Tartelette Flirt palette that I’ve been working on off and on since snatching it up at the Sephora next to my old job in 2018. It didn’t get much use until I went fully into remote work and needed neutral-ish makeup that didn’t wash me out on video calls.
Not too long ago, I finished Gaze, which was a yellow-based matte cream shade that made a great all-over color on me when I just wanted to wear a neutral eye and mascara for work when I was hitting the peak of my depression last year. (Which lasted…months. Which is why there’s none of this shade left.) Other than that, I tend to use the colors in rows as whole eye looks: Touch & Hotline together, then Playful, Passion, & Snuggle together. You can kind of tell which look I prefer out of the two.

Today I just hit pan on Hotline after spending every day for the last month thinking I was close to hitting it. It just feels so good to have pan in all six shades now because it’s been so long since I’ve finished an entire eyeshadow palette. I know that I have some bigger palettes in my collection that could use the attention, but given that I’m only just now coming out of my depression and don’t want to do too much thinking, a nice small neutral palette works best.
