As you can see I purchased a few items from the Replay Recording collection (ngl it’s 50% for the packaging and 50% because of my love for SHINee).
This is my review for the first tape, Legendary Taro Cherry 🍒 🥰
*Packaging :*
The tapes are thicker than most plastic palettes I own. They feel very sturdy and are very pretty. They’re not too difficult to open even though my nails are a bit too long at the moment. I like that they fit perfectly in the palm of my hand.
*Colors :*
Cool Ade : very light pastel pink shade. It doesn’t show up much in pictures but that’s because it’s extremely close to my skintone.
Taro Milktea : this one feels less pigmented than the other shades but it still works well in my crease. I wonder if it’s because of the stamping?
Cherry Coke : a transparent glitter shade (pink and purple glitter with a little pink shimmer). It looks more cool toned swatched than in the pan and in my pictures. It’s the same quality and pigmentation as Romand’s, if you happen to own one of their palettes. Very pretty and easy to use.
A-Shot-Chu : a decently pigmented brown with a pink undertone. It’s not hard to use, does the job and stays pigmented throughout the day with a primer.
All of them feel finely milled and there isn’t a whole lot of fallout in the pan. This color scheme would suit summer types best.
*Overall :* I did not expect amazing pigmentation but this one is actually good quality. Not the most amazing quality but also way better than other palettes at the same price point but with less interesting packaging ☝️✨️
