I have tan skin (25 romand nu zero cushion, NARS concealer ginger are my closest shade matches) and swatched all my current asian lip products. ❤️ my faves, in general these shades work well for my skin tone. Wiped off after 10min to show how it stains. Photos adjusted to reflect how swatches look like irl
Huge NOs for me are the peripera ink velvet #23 and tonymoly #5. Something about the “nude” ink velvets just dont work for my skin tone, the same thing happened with #17 rosy nude from the same line; it looks gorgeous on hand swatches but SO BAD on the face. It washes me out and looks super pale despite it looking rlly deep on the hand. Tonymoly one is self-explanatory i think. Merzy one is very vampy and i usually just take a little and spread it out for a more natural look, i dont like how it stains a light purple on the lips though.
Love the peripera bare water tint #6, it looks meh on the hand but deepens into a gorgeous colour on the lips (pic 4)
