I started actively panning/having usage goals a few months ago (October 2023) and am pretty happy with my progress so far!
I have so much skincare and makeup because I get bored of products easily/toss it to the side when a supposedly “better” product comes out. Overwhelmed by how much my collection has grown, I’ve been using the project pan related subreddits, YouTube videos, tiktok reels, etc. to motivate myself to shop my collection and finish my products. Because my makeup obsession is on the newer side, I don’t have a lot of old products, but am keeping track of my uses to make sure I’m at least getting my $$$’s worth!
I started my project panning journey with mostly skincare/body care, and the first picture shows all of my empties since then. The second picture is actually an old 4(?) year old rom&nd palette that I hit pan on recently! Not super pigmented, but it’s amazing to use as transition shades for my other palettes and/or for when I’m going for a more soft/neutral look. I should be able to finish the first shade (matte sand) before the end of this year and am hoping to continue until I get a pan in each shade.
