      Ramblings below, with reviews:

      2024 Goals:

      * Foundation: Rose Inc, Fenty Eaze Drop, L’Oreal True Match. The Rose Inc and True Match are mostly gone, so this is more a prediction than a goal. I like the Eaze Drop a little less than ok, so I want to finish it and forget.

      * Concealer: Rose Inc. Great concealer. Might repurchase.

      * Bronzer/Contour: CT Film Star mini, great very light, not too warm bronzer. It’s gonna get panned. The only thing stopping me from repurchasing is the highlight, which I’m not too keen on. The Milk contour is from this year and I already have a dent in it. It’s a great consistency and shade if you’re coolish light.

      * Highlight: Becca moonstone mini, bought right before they went out of business. I love her so much, but also lowkey ready to move on to another powder highlight after 3 years. The cream is a luma beauty highlight that I’m almost sorry to pan (great dupe for RMS at lower price), because I feel like they’re going out of business too… The Milk highlight is from when I got the blush and highlight in a Sephora gift set back in 2016 makeup era, so if I don’t pan it this year, I should probably let go of it. It’s the only Milk stick product that I don’t really like.

      * Blush: I have soooooo many blushes, so focusing on the MBM desert rose this year. It’s a lovely dusty rose nude. I’m also panning all my Milk blushes just because I love them so much and use them often. The Rally is a repurchase from this year. Unpopular opinion, the tiny packaging contains a ton of product and is great for travel.

      * Eyeshadow: these are true goals, because they’re both new from this year. Single shadows only in 2024, because I ain’t got time for a full look. The powder is Shiseido Suru Suru Taupe and the cream is Phytosurgence Chilled Cherry. They’re both beautiful shades and a joy to use.

      * Gloss: random Colourpop glosses. I go through them like popcorn.

      2023 Pans:

I only started keeping my used packaging in September of this year, otherwise my 2023 pans would be a lot more interesting. Not pictured: Milk Rally, Luma highlight, YSL lipstick, eleventy brow gels, a gajillion lipbalms.

      * Makeup: fully panned Maybelline Lifter Gloss in Moon and mini Anastasia brow gel. The So Glassy and A’Pieu blush still have some life in them, but the So Glassy irritated my lips and the A’Pieu is old and starting to smell, so off they go. (But I highly recommend the A’Pieu jelly blush formula!)

      * Fragrance: Hermes Monsieur Li’s Garden, holy grail, I have an insatiable thirst for newness but I’m def repurchasing this one soon. And a random Tokyomilk I highkey used as a room spray.

      * Cleanser: Mad Hippie gentle cleanser. I don’t have skin issues and therefore don’t cleanse intensively, so I like this one because it’s pretty unintrusive. But Cocokind Oil to Milk is better and has a wonderful herby smell. Two empties of it from this year not pictured.

      * Moisturizer: CosRx snail mucin moisturizer, don’t know why people are obsessed with this, did nothing for me, gross consistency, will not repurchase. Rovectin Lotus Cream, it’s ok, won’t repurchase either. Not pictured are my Pyunkang Yul moisturizers, which I went through like 3 of this year and love.

      * Sunscreen: Viral Naturium sunscreen, I know she’s cancelled, and she’s definitely overpriced, but I enjoyed the experience. I feel I can get similar for cheaper, but otherwise would repurchase. The Missha Sun Milk is way too runny for me. Not an enjoyable texture.

      * Serums and shit: the Cocokind Vitamin C is my discovery of the year. Don’t get me wrong, it does nothing besides moisturize, but it has this tacky texture that makes it a wonderful affordable primer with skincare benefits. Wouldn’t repurchase as skincare tho. The vegan snail mucin thing likewise did nothing. 2024 is the year I get medical-grade or save my money.

      * Body moisturizer: Torture pan of the full-size Hempz pomegranate. It’s a good product, I just had too much of it, got sick of the scent after a while, wasn’t in love with the consistency, and feel like it overstayed its welcome.
