2023 US Pans – Product List in Comments

Hi again, everyone! I’m taking inventory of my panning progress while at home in Greensboro during 2023.

Since 2021, live between an apartment in Gothenburg, Sweden and my home in Greensboro, NC. I have the best news to celebrate that I am now 100% a US employee as of January 1, 2024, meaning more time with family and only occasional business travel. This list (in comments) is shorter than my 2023 Sweden based pans, but I’m still thrilled to reflect on the joy in these little luxuries of self-care.

Cleansers:

Clinique Eye Makeup Remover (x3) (3/5) – Just denting the stash from years of gifts with purchase.

Lancome Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover (5/5) – This is by far the best in this category

111Skin Crypto Pre-Activated Toning Cleanser (4/5) – Works well and lasts a long time because only a pea size amount foams up for the whole face. This is a step below my favorite Korres cleanser but better than most.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (5/5) – I learned about this from this forum and it was a pleasure to take off my makeup

Tatcha Rice Wash (5/5)

Blume Day Dreamer (2/5)

Makeup:

EL Double Wear Foundation 2C3 (5/5) – HG that I repurchase again and again

Makeup Forever Ultra HD Y216 (3/5) – This is comparable in quality and coverage to the EL Double Wear, but this shade was a bit too light for me (IPSY match)

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder (4/5)

MAC Light Medium Sheer Mystery Powder (HG 5/5 Discontinued) – A LONG time ago, MAC used to have this powder every Christmas as a special offer. I purchased dozens – a new compact each year and multiple refills. I still haven’t found anything better and use it when I need more coverage or staying power.

EL Limited Edition All Over Shimmer (Bronzer with shimmering gold) (2/5) – This was a very old product from circa 2009 that I finally decided to declutter after achieving baby pan.

Lancome Cils Booster (3/5) 0 This product works for prepping before mascara but it isn’t something Ir each for everyday

Clinique Quickliner for Lips in 40 Neutrally (4/5) – Very first time panning a lip liner. I liked this product and it was a great color, but not part of my normal routine.

Givenchy Black “Magic” Lipstick (5/5) – What was this sorcery or the perfect “your lip but better” variety?

NARS Lip Pigment American Woman (3/5)

Unidentifiable Matte Lip Paint – (1/5) I panned 50% as a hate pan and decided that was a full pan to me.

Benefit the Porefessional Super Setter (3/5)

Max Fix It Setting Spray (4/5)

Body:

Ouai Scalp and Body Scrub (2/5) – I like the brand but the crystals in tis dissolved too quikly to exfoliate my skin.

Franks Sculpting Body Hydrator (2/5) – I don’t need butt tightening and I used this on my legs at night. It very much smelled like coffee.
