Purchased in 2016. I then didn’t reach for it because I wanted to protest Tarte and like everyone else, I had so many other products. In recent years I’ve been determined to go through my hoard as long as it wasn’t a risk to my health, and only repurchase necessities like mascara, foundation, brow products.
I will say though, this palette made me appreciate the color gold on my face. All through beauty school and life in general, I was pressured to fit into a box of color theory that did not work well with my ethnicity. I am pale, but pearly white highlighters just made me look icy and cold. I even avoided gold jewelry which is very prominent in my cultures. This palette specifically changed that for me. I technically can wear gold or silver with my skin tone, but this helped me realize I need to stop avoiding the color gold entirely.
It also still smells really nice after all these years.
