Went to the hairdresser today and she didn’t want to damage my hair because I wanted something slightly lighter than these examples and it would have required bleach. I’m thinking of going to the store and getting some box dye maybe? But I don’t want to slather dye and damage my hair if it doesn’t lift as much as I was expecting.

idk how much lighter you can get but i used ion lift and tone on my hair a few years back. i got it at a sally’s beauty and the cashier helped me choose a kit. it was either 30 or 40 volume developer. i cant remember. my hair was not virgin black, but it was my natural black after growing out for a few years and several different hair cuts.
