So, I was recently thinking about UOMA and went to their page to see what they'd been doing following the drama last year after Sharon Chuter's unfortunate passing… and it's not looking good for UOMA. They haven't posted since February on IG, and I noticed a comment mentioning they had been waiting on an email response for weeks, which is exactly what happened last time (again, this was back in February).

I also scrolled back and thought I'd highlight a few posts that are obviously AI, I know Jen Luv called them out for it on her show a while back but some still remain. It's interesting to note the timing, the red lipstick image I highlighted was directly AFTER their poor attempt at posting following Sharon's passing, you can see every comment is very angry at them. Before that, they seemed to be at least making a bit of effort, if you scroll enough it's all normal brand content you'd expect to see, photos of their products, reposting smaller creators, but following the backlash they got last summer they seemed to have thrown in the towel

What's your thoughts on this brand? Anyone stil using them? I know for me, I would like to seem them go at this point, even though there were complicated financial issues going on behind the scenes, it just feels wrong how everything happened and I can't see the brand any other way now. I could see the brand being revived by a new owner, and preferably a black woman leading the charge, but I think that's unlikely at this point
